Reprinted from email: “This is our last chance to save this “off leash” space from SEVERE restrictions!! We need EVERYONE to attend the City Council meeting next Tuesday, December 7th, at 7:00 PM, in Room 315 at the City & County Building (451 S. State St). You will have the opportunity to address the City Council and let them know how important this area is to us and how we are willing and able to work with Salt Lake City to maintain and improve the area if we are allowed to partner with them. There are three main points that they need to hear: the entire south side of the stream should remain “off leash” (it is currently proposed as “on leash”), there needs to be three stream access points (the current proposal is two); and the main entry road needs to be ‘off leash’.
It is extremely important that all comments be positive and well thought out. Please be respectful and orderly. Pass the word to others you know who care. We need to have a packed room.
