Davis Country Fairgrounds

151 S 1100 W, Farmington, UT 84025, USA

One of the more popular locations for Dog Sporting events in Northern Utah is the Davis County Fairgrounds. This site consists of everything you could want for a fair, as well as a great deal of places that are ideal for dog sports.

Not only do they have the large central stadium for rodeo type events (pictured to the left) they also have a large grassy outdoor area for all kinds of agility, obedience, and conformation events.

They also offer three smaller buildings for indoor events such as seminars, obedience trials, and conformation trials. They also are known to host events such as rabbit shows.

People should not bring non-participating dogs to the show. A pitbull attacked a lab that was returning from the ring today. The PB owners ran away with the dog after the incident.
    Disgusting.

Hi Shogle, thanks for your comment. Whether people can bring unentered dogs to shows or not depends on the Venue. AKC does not allow it, but people tend to bring dogs anyway.

Personally I think unentered dogs should be allowed. Especially dogs and puppies that are going to eventually compete, since they need to get used to the environment.

I think dog conduct is a different matter and should be addressed separately.
